About Us
Buddy Freund has served as the Director of Athletics in 3 New Jersey school districts encompassing a 12-year Athletic Administration career. He has coached wrestling, football, and track over a 20 year coaching career, and has been recognized as Coach of the Year on multiple occasions. Buddy has coached numerous wrestling teams to Conference, District, and State Championships. He is most proud that more than 10 of his former wrestlers have gone on to successful coaching careers themselves.
Prior to entering the field of education, Buddy worked for 12 years in the foodservice industry. In addition, he has enjoyed a successful sales career and was the sole proprietor of a successful ice cream business.
Buddy has addressed thousands of athletes, coaches, and parents in his coaching, administrative, and speaking endeavors. His audiences have found him to be insightful, humorous, and motivational.
